GROUNDWORK: Creative Residencies EOI

Crimson Rosella, in partnership with the Tathra Hotel, invites Expressions of Interest from performance‑based artists and companies for week‑long creative residencies at the new Headland Theatre, Tathra, during winter. Residencies support the development of new work while creating meaningful opportunities for public engagement and connection with local creatives.

What the Residency Offers
• Exclusive access to the Headland Theatre for rehearsal and development
• Technical access (to be confirmed per project)
• Accommodation support – mix of in‑kind and subsidised considered
• Promotion of public outcomes through Crimson Rosella and Tathra Hotel channels
• Lindy Hume and/or Andrew Gray from Crimson Rosella available to support and observe/engage as needed

Residency Expectations
Successful applicants will:
• Use the residency primarily for creative development
• Deliver at least one public‑facing activity, such as: work‑in‑progress showing; artist talk or Q&A; workshop or masterclass; open rehearsal or community conversation
• Identify ways local creatives may be involved or benefit, e.g. open workshops or skill‑sharing; attendance at rehearsals; informal networking; collaboration, mentoring or creative exchange
